There’s always an excuse not to

There’s always an excuse not to

So, I started doing something new which was outside my comfort zone. I stuck at it for a while and then it got to hard. Well, not that hard but in my mind I sold it as being much harder than it was so I stopped. Sound familiar?

In my case what I’m referring to is writing blogs, articles and useful bits of information that can help people on their fitness journey. What got too hard for me was the technical side of things. To be honest I’m far more comfortable talking, coaching others and moving myself. When it comes to logging in (I always forget my password) and following the right steps to create a post it seems too hard. So I put it off and put it off until I’ve clean forgotten the steps. Then I’ve got a legitimate excuse why I can’t do it so it makes it even easier!

But, you know...it sits in the back of your mind nagging at you. Just a little bit but just enough to remind you that you gave up! So, what are you going to do? Here’s what I’m doing, jumping back on the wagon and the plan is to stay there. For me I’ve always said if can help one person make a positive change to their health and well being then it’s been worthwhile. If you read this and it helps you get back off the couch, take a set of stairs or maybe try to touch your toes...job done!
